Oh hey.

Sorry I've been MIA for a bit. My Mac is in for repairs because it was running reallllly slow, and my iPhone isn't doing too hot either. My power button broke, which means that my battery drains awfully quickly, so that's getting sent in for repairs today. Thank God for AppleCare!

Anyways, I'm trying to get a quick little update up here via iPhone, so forgive any typos.

I have only a few precious weeks of maternity leave left. Slowly, over the next few weeks, I'll be transitioning back into work, and by the first week of October I'll officially be "back" at 30 hours a week. I'll stay at 30 hours until at least December, at which time I'll gradually creep back to full time. I'm am SO thankful my boss lets us flex our leave so we can come back part time, but right now even 30 hours apart from my babe seems like a lot.

I'm hoping to get a handful of updates posted on the blog before I return because I anticipate things being chaotic for a bit. I know it will be good to settle into a routine, but cross your fingers for me because it's still going to be tough.

Coming up:
-our trip to NYC (from March, ha!)
-a little breast feeding update (mastitis is the devil)
-a baby photo dump :)
-a little update on our little dude

And finally, a little update on that piece of land I told you about. We placed an offer, the sellers countered, and we accepted. We're waiting on a few things yet, but hopefully we'll be closing on it soon. (YAY!) now we just need all the luck in the world so we can sell our condo.

Back soon (I hope).

  2. Hi Christi - it cost $79 including tax. We have a local repair shop that's authorized by Apple, but I would think it would be similar at the Apple Store.
